Overdose

I myself love RnB, who doesnt? It goes with everything, like Robitussin, RnB has the answer for all aliments. Girl left you? Tank-"Please Dont Go". Cheat on your girl? Usher-"Confessions I and II", Have a fetish for watching yourself make love with your partner? NeYo-"Mirror".(haha you gotta admit that last one is a great song) So like i said a good RnB song can never do you wrong. Enter, Brandon Hines, I was introduced to this guys stuff through a friend (shout out to janay). Hes got a nice voice that goes perfectly with the melodic songs hes got. My personal favorite right now is "Overdose", Hes from detroit, (Mo-Town) and was featured on MTV's TRL unsigned hype. Actually he's touring with Estelle in Kanye in their "American Boy" tour. Any way heres the track and a link to download. Make sure you pick up his stuff, this guys worth it. Brandon Hines Myspace

T.I. New Video

T.I. has released his new single to "Paper Trail", its called "No Matter What",

to be honest, T.I. is an amazing rapper and makes his own way but after the gigantic success of "What You Know" i dont feel like hes been able to match it. Im rooting for em, hopefully "Paper Trail" will be what we expect from the southern giant.

by the way, anybody else notice him call out Shawty Lo?

"Set the standard in atlanta how to Get, Get, Get It. So you up and coming rappers wanna diss just kill it."

ohhh...ouch

Wale

Im saying this right now, Wale, is gonna be great! Im cosigning this shit hard, the dudes got major talent. Hes another rapper from the dmv (thats DC, MARYLAND, and Virginia for those of yall that dont know) heres his myspace intro

"In an era when critics and rappers themselves jump to declare the death of hip hop, 23 year-old Wale Folarin has been breathing new life into the genre through dazzling wordplay, a fresh sound steeped in DC's legendary go-go scene, and boundless on-stage energy. 2006 saw Wale conquer DC, Maryland and Virginia with a slew of original radio hits and electrifying shows that solidified his buzz in the Mid-Atlantic. 2007 has been even brighter, with Wale garnering press in The Fader, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post, The Source, Vibe, Complex, HipHopGame.com, AllHipHop.com, a news piece on MTV and even the cover of URB, all without a major label deal. With heavy radio rotation in DC, Maryland and Virginia, along with mixshow spins on both costs, Wale has sold out shows in LA, New York, San Francisco, Philly and Atlanta. Wale took the European music festival circuit by storm, touring with world-famous DJ and superproducer Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen) in 2007. The response was so great, Wale ended up signing a production deal with Ronson's Allido Records. With well over 2 million plays on MySpace, Wale is an organic hip hop and lifestyle phenomenon, and the release of his third and most widely-distributed mixtape, 100 MILES AND RUNNING (30,000+ downloads since July), has taken his global buzz to new heights. Top streetwear label 10Deep has come on as a sponsor of 100 MILES mixtape as well as future apparel collaborations. Starr African Rum, The Hundreds, LRG, Stussy, Jordan Brand and Nike have all co-signed Wale, and he was recently tapped to participate in a free Nike Boot concert along with Lil Wayne in DC sponsored by Nike and Footaction. Wale was also contributed to the album commemorating the 40th anniversary of BBC's Radio 1. Every once in a while an artist comes along and completely changes the game: Jay-Z, Nelly, Pharrell, Kanye West. Wale's got next. "

Diddys boys are Back

Day 26 premiered there new video today on MTV, im always skeptical about artists that come from some show or some type of contest like that. Its too dramatic, to be honest i dont even watch the damn shows. They all remind me of like just hype artists, remember Choppa from Da Band? Well he changed his name to "Young City" and was gettin into some beef with the cops in 2006, now hes under Young Money Ent., but has anybody heard shit from him? NOPE, not unless u reallly really really really wanna search through the amazon for some type of Lost Mixtape, lol...anyway heres the Day 26 Video

Tyga-Frosted Cakes

So there is mad hype over this dude TYGA, and to be honest i dont see the big deal, aight "Coconut Juice" was aight, if anything its what i would expect a freshman to put out. And okay his style and swagg is cool, but can he rap? im gonna keep it real, Im not hating on dude but Im sure He's got mad potential, the games all about growth, growing into your image, your music and your audience. He's new, he gets a little leeway but not alot, Im expecting alot from a kid under the Young Money Dynasty. BTW, those chains hes holding up...He definitely got jacked for em! god, if you can afford a 150,000 dollar chain, pay a couple bucks an hour for somebody to PROTECT YO SHIT! damn...lol anyway heres a track Tyga got with Lil Wayne entitled I Am. I think yall will agree it doesn't go too hard, kinda like taking only 1/4 of viagra.

Talk of the Town

So Night Ripper was me my favorite album for a minute.
For those of you who dont know, its a dude who remixes famous songs into an album of beats and songs. The album is connect beacause each song links to the next, honestly u never ever notice the transition between tracks, its pretty cool. Give it a chance. Stray from your norm, im trying to get people to get outta there box, so u...person...fold your box and let your ears wander
